BBC News reports:
Big Brother's model contestant Maysoon Shaladi has walked out of the house just four weeks after joining the show.
After a day of complaining that she did not feel comfortable on the show and might leave, the 28-year-old confirmed that she wanted to quit.
Maysoon had been up for eviction on Friday against eight other housemates. Viewers who have already voted for her will be able to get a full refund.
When Maysoon joined, her aim was to show models could have a personality.
Maysoon, who is from Hertfordshire, joined the programme one month after it started, at the same time as Sara Folino and Belinda Harris-Reid.
The three have enjoyed contrasting fortunes. Theatre director Belinda lasted two weeks before being evicted at the earliest opportunity, Maysoon has struggled to make an impression with fellow housemates but Australian Sara has yet to pick up a single nomination vote.
In recent days, Maysoon had been openly criticised by fellow housemates who were given the chance to see her original audition video - in which she made the claim that she wanted to show that models could have a personality.
Mohamed told Maysoon that her performance on the video was "a hell of a lot different" from how she behaved in the house and said he preferred the girl he had seen in the video, while Rex said it showed that she was "the biggest liar in the house".
After confirming her decision to leave in the diary room, Maysoon emerged and told housemates Sara, Kathreya and Rachel: "They asked me loads of questions. I never really got 100% comfortable in the house.
"It was hard for us coming in halfway through, people already have their friends. I'm happy with the month I did. I wouldn't change it."
Rachel said: "We don't want you to go May. Are you sure you won't regret it, when you watch it on TV?"
Maysoon replied: "No. No. I want to watch you guys."
