A delegation of Southport Visiter staff headed for Mathew Street in Liverpool on Friday night to see our very own cheeky newsroom monkey, John Siddle, in concert at the Cavern Club.
Now, it's not for me to needlessly massage the ego of a colleague, but Mr Siddle was rather good.
A very relaxed showman, it's amazing to think it's only a few years since Mr Siddle picked up a guitar for the first time.
