Hola from the B Hotel in Barcelona, just a Jonathan Edwards-stylee hop, skip and a jump from the Olympic Stadium in the Catalan capital.
The reason the blog has been quiet this past week is because I am on my annual jollies to foreign climes, and halfway through my first visit, this has to be one of the most remarkable places I have ever visited.
Apart from the fact the Barcelonins (is that right?) serve cake at breakfast and we have a smashing pool on the roof of our hotel, there is so much to see and do here.
Today, we are off to Gaudi´s nowhere near finished, but still impressive, Cathedral, and yesterday we took in another Cathedral, the Zoo and a quick stop at the beach.
As in most cities, the open-top bus tour gives a good idea of what to see and do if you take it early on in your stay, so that means the rest of our week will be spent seeking out Gaudi´s park, a quick jaunt to Sitges and maybe even a visit to a chocolate factory (slurp).
Adios!
